Executive Update
Dear EHMHA families and players,

I have been searching for the right words as I, like most of you, find my way through this unprecedented time.  As President of the EHMHA, I have also been slowly coming to terms with the difficult decision that came from Hockey Canada on the cancellation of the 2019-20 season due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

First and foremost, we love hockey.  Behind the scenes, our volunteers are preparing for all situations to ensure that we are ready when we know better what next season will look like. Like all of you, EHMHA continues to follow the direction from the Government, Public Health and the Sport organizations we are a part of.  Our executive and volunteers have been and will continue to work behind the scenes remotely and electronically.

TEAM AWARDS
We were very fortunate to be able to host a fun CHIP Champs Day for our youngest athletes, but it was with disappointment that we had to postpone our Rep and Local League award days.  We will make sure this past season is celebrated one way or another, and we will provide more information when we are able to do so.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) + NEW EXECUTIVE MEMBERS

We have made the decision to postpone the AGM until further notice.  In the meantime, we are excited to announce that Jeff Oakley has been appointed as VP. Ops and Roland Groenenberg as Local League Director.  We are looking forward to their contributions as we plan for next season and we thank them both for raising their hands in continued support of our hockey association.

In closing, I hope that you, your families and loved ones stay well.  Please get in touch with myself or any member of the executive team at any time.
