The primary goal of the EHMHA executive team is to foster a love of the game through a fun and memorable hockey experience for every player and member. We are a team of volunteer parents, friends and family contributing behind the scenes to the success of the association as a whole. We work as a team, respect all we interact with, and give our time to help wherever it is needed.

The Equipment Director is an ex officio member (non-voting) of the Executive with a 1-year commitment term.

General Responsibilities:
-Maintain the equipment room; keeping inventory logs of allstock
-Keep accurate records of equipment on loan (first aid kits, jerseys/socks, goalie equipment etc.)
-Coordinate all team jersey and socks orders
-Manage the iPads and e-game sheet system
-Keep first aid kits, game pucks and other equipment well stocked for team needs
-Minimize costs, provide budgets and expense reports in a timely manner-
Sell or repurpose extra stock where possible
-Give clear instructions to team bench staff regarding the maintenance and return of equipment and e-game sheets/ iPads
-Monitor the Equipment email account and field inquiries in a timely manner
-Carry out other duties as assigned by the Board, the Executive committee, or the President 
-Coordinate Team Picture Day (Nov)
-Coordinate year end awards with coaches, order Esso Awards for league

Appointment Terms and Time Commitment Required
-The Equipment Director is appointed for a term of 12months
-The estimated time commitment is approximately 5hours per month throughout the whole calendar year with peaks in June-July and Sept-Oct months due to equipment needs
-In addition, the Equipment Director is required to attend monthly Executive team meetings(approx. 1.5 hours in length)
-Attend the EHMHA Annual General Meeting (AGM)each spring (2 hours in length)
