Secretary
Primary Responsibilities
· Coordinate Monthly EHMHA Executive Board Meeting (10 times per year)
· Provide authorized letters for team bank accounts
· Coordinate Rep/Select Awards Ceremony (April)
· Coordinate AGM annual meeting (May)
· Maintain organized files and folders (hard and electronic copies) to support the Board team, and Team Coach/Manager
overall operations
· Volunteer to help other association activities such as rep try-outs, LL grading day and others
· Communicate effectively and diplomatically and work well with a diverse team
· Always operate with discretion
· Monitor the Secretary email account and field general enquiries in a timely manner
Requirements
The Secretary is elected at the EHMHA Annual General Meeting (AGM) or by the EHMHA Executive and is appointed for a term of 24 months. This role is a voting member, so there will be a contribution to the association decision-making across all topics as required
-Estimated time commitment is approximately 5-10 hours per month
-Coordinate and attend EH Executive Meetings (10 per year)
-Coordinate and attend Annual General Meeting in May
-Access to internet, email, MS Word and Excel or equivalent/compatible
-A member of the EHMHA in good standing and will abide by its policies, rules and by-laws
