2024/25 Tri-county Season update and Select league for next season
REP: Tri-county Proposed Seasonal Structure (pending approval):
-Opportunity to form U7/U8 (if numbers allow) MD teams (MD= minor development, will play games in a league structure all season, team picked at fall tryouts, these would be in addition to participating in the U7 program)
-Christmas Break: Dec. 24- Jan 1 -  No league games to be played
-March Break: Mar 10-16 (inclusive) - No league games to be played
-Some Tri-county playoffs will be completed after OMHA Championship tournament (which will be first week of April)

LOCAL LEAGUE:
Select Structured League:

We are working with Tricounty to set up a structured select program for all age groups. 
Benefits of this set up:
-An opportunity to offer a more competitive and enhanced recreational experience that provides better stepping-stones between Recreational and Representative programming.
-Structured and balanced schedule set at the beginning of the season
-Eliminates stress of finding teams to play & of scheduling games
-Travel permits completed at the beginning of the season
-Maximizes games and player experience, as the league has scheduled everything and teams able to jump into their season

Key details of program:
-Season Start: October 5th
-Season End: March 23rd
-Season Break: December 22nd - January 5th / March Break
-Games Played: 24 regular season games; playoff weekend.
-Playoffs: likely a tournament style end of year event
-Teams will be formed via tryouts which will be held in the fall
