Survey Feedback Summary
The EHMHA executive wanted to share some of the feedback we received in our recent survey.

We had a response rate of 35% - it’s clear you wanted your voices heard and we are listening.

The executive is committed to making noticeable changes this season and taking your feedback into account when making decisions for next season.

Feedback Summary:

  • Members asked for more development - particularly in local league - we are working on a framework to support player & coach development.  We are planning some activities in this area – extra support during practices, helping coaches with practice plans, additional skills clinics for players.  Details will be available early in the New Year and these activities will commence this season and be incorporated for the upcoming one.
  • Not enough communication from executive – we will be providing regular updates on the happenings throughout the association as well as what we are working on for next year.  Feel free to contact the executive at any time if you have any questions or concerns: Contact
  • Is EHMHA good value for money?  A cost breakdown can be found here.  It can difficult to directly compare us to other centres, but we are very proud to offer our membership these benefits:
    • Prime time scheduling of practices – many centres schedule early morning or early afternoon
    • Game length – We lengthen game time for the older age groups, some centres restrict all LL games to 3 10min. periods.
    • We offer a convenient registration payment plan via credit card
    • We offer low Rep Tryout Fees
    • Number of referees overseeing games – OMHA only requires 2 linesman however we go above and beyond offering 1 referee, and 1 or 2 linesman depending on the age group.
    • We offer jerseys and socks as part of the registration fee for Local League
  • Members asked why we are only playing Acton in Local League this season.  CW used to be the hub of our loop but had enough teams to run their own house league and decided to do so.  As a result, Arthur joined a Western loop and since our Bantam and Midget teams were already playing with Acton it was decided to have our younger divisions join as well.  We will be making decision on what loop LL will play in next season soon and more info will come early in the New Year.
