François Losier – U15BB Head Coach
We are excited to welcome François to the Devils organization for next season. He brings a wealth of coaching experience and a passion for player development to the U15BB team. With nearly a decade of coaching experience in Brampton (2010-2018) as both an assistant and head coach, François understands what it takes to foster teamwork, skill growth, and a positive attitude.
His coaching philosophy is simple: make hockey fun while focusing on development. He believes that great teams are built on teamwork and commitment, and he encourages his players to bring a strong work ethic and positive mindset to every practice and game. His proudest moments as a coach come from watching players progress to higher skill levels, a testament to his ability to inspire growth and confidence in his teams.
Now settled in Alton, François and his family were drawn to the Erin hockey community for its welcoming atmosphere and strong leadership. He plans to create a positive team culture by engaging with parents and giving back to the community through initiatives like fundraising and food drives.
If he could coach any NHL player as a kid, François would choose Sidney Crosby, recognizing his work ethic, sportsmanship and community involvement. He instills the same mentality in his players, emphasizing that "hard work pays off."
With his extensive experience, commitment to player development, and community-focused approach, François is a welcome addition to the Erin hockey program, and he looks forward to helping his team grow both on and off the ice.
