Submitted By EHMHA on Friday, June 4, 2021
Erin-Hillsburgh Minor Hockey is excited to announce that we will be hosting the NHL/NHLPA First Shift Program this fall.

This program is open to all children between the ages of 6 and 10 years old that have never previously been registered in minor hockey. On-ice sessions with fun drills are always on the same day of the week, same time and same arena (in Erin or Hillsburgh).

$229 registration fee includes a full set of BAUER equipment and six on-ice sessions.

Hockey Canada has created a fun curriculum that focuses on:

-Small areas games and skills stations active
-Wide variety of skating skills, puck handling, passing and shooting exercises
-Discovering the sport through variety of basic motor movement patterns
-Fun games to ensure participants enjoy a full range of hockey experiences
-Praise and encouragement will serve as the foundation of the instructor’s approach to working with all participants.

We will kick off with a fun welcome event and there will be surprise visits from current and alumni Toronto Maple Leafs throughout the program.  (All COVID public health measures will be followed)

Registration opens June 15th at 12pm EST.  Limited spots available.

Visit www.firstshift.ca for more info and to register.
