Community Involvement
On Sunday December 6th 2013, the EH Atom BB Team not only donated to the Guelph Food Bank - they also worked at the warehouse to prepare "Christmas Baskets" which consisted of all the fixings required to make a Christmas dinner for familes in need. Kids were give a list of items required for each basket and worked dilligently to prepare over 150 baskets. A heartfelt generous afternoon for the kids and parents.
What Motivates The Team
Players are motived on ice by their natural competitiveness and unstoppable additudes to make their community proud, not to mention their love of the game. Prior to the game commencing the team gathers around the net for a quick team chant to kick-off the game. Parents in positive noisy cheer from the stands. Off ice, players partake in extra training, music in the dressing room before a game is key. A team workout to stretch and get their mindset.
